Jiashan Market - Shanghai's Urban Garden Community,was the former Shanghai Knitting Factory, and a few years after it closed, became an urban project that aspires to a more sustainable, healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle right in the middle of the city.
Tal como em Tianzanfang, também aqui encontramos lojas, cafés, bares e restaurantes, e dois sábados por mês instala-se aqui um mercado biológico. E tal como em Tianzanfang, o acesso não é o mais visível. Se pedirem indicações chegam a um portão com uma placa a dizer Jiashan Market, mas para de facto chegarem ao local, têm que passar por um verdadeiro mercado local.

Just as in Tianzanfang, here too we find shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, and two Saturdays per month a biological market is set here. Also, the access is not the most visible. If you ask for directions you come to a gate with a sign saying Jiashan Market, but to actually get to the Jiashan Market you have to go through a real local market.

Um pouco mais dentro da antiga French Concession, em Dongping Lu, encontrámos o recém aberto supermercado biológico gourmet Green & Safe, também com uma zona de refeições ligeiras e um restaurante no primeiro andar.

A little further into the former French Concession, on Dongping Lu, we found the newly opened organic and gourmet supermarket Green & Safe, that also has a light meal area and a restaurant on the first floor.
Não tivemos oportunidade porque já não tinhamos mais tempo, mas para uma próxima visita a Shanghai não vou perder um passeio à Mahota Farm.

We didn't have time to go there on this trip, but next time we visit Shanghai I will not miss Mahota Farm.
